Iti Acharya was born in Rajasthan and brought up in Punjab. And moved to Bangalore to pursue her graduation at the National Institute of Fashion Technology. She started my carrier as a professional model in 2010 and soon enough was led to a lot of photoshoots and ramp shows.
In 2012 she was spotted by a sandalwood team who were looking for a fresh and enthusiastic actress for their next project. After that, she got a lot of good roles in Kannada movies ranging from thrillers like Guest House to comedies like Deal Raja.
She also got a chance to work in a Malayalam movie with Asif Ali’s ‘Kilipoyi’, followed by the challenging lead role in ‘Kerela Today’ as a cop. Later she appeared in the Tamil rap song Elarai with Bharath in the movie Aindhaam Thalaimurai Sidha Vaidhiya Sigamani.
In 2015, she stepped into Bollywood with the movie ‘The cinema hall’ along with Big Boss fame Azaz Khan. She did some Kannada movies recently called “Kavacha”, “Contract”.
